You've seen Ep.10, yes? Okie Dokie then.

...

...

... the FUCK??

Was it just me, or did this ep really, really suck? OK, first of all we have a freakin' Auschwitz victim, with a voice like an 8-year-old's, as Anna the Angelphone. What is with this show? Why can't they hire actresses who aren't 50 pounds underweight? Seriously, all I could think every time she was on camera was OH MY GOD SOMEBODY GET THAT GIRL A SANDWICH!!!! And she was Uriel's boss? I don't think so. Uriel's an archangel, sweetie; their only boss is The Boss. And her storyline was silly--angels who lose their grace are instantly reborn as human beings? While their 'grace' falls to earth as a meteor? W. T. F.

Secondly, is the Gay Godfather demon guy supposed to be scary or something? Because, all I could do was dissolve into hysterical laughter every time he was on screen. I kept waiting for him to lisp out something about an offer Dean couldn't refuse.

OK, now, we've all been wanting to see Dean get it on in the back seat of the Impala. Yeah baby! Some of us want to see him do a hot chick back there, some of us want to watch him do Sammy, some of us would be happy as hell to see him introduce Castiel to some of the funkier aspects of humanity. But I'm pretty sure none of us wanted to watch him listlessly hump an emaciated semi-angelic bag of bones. Neither of them looked terribly enthused about the whole thing, either. (Chemistry...ur doin it rong.) And the shot of her hand sliding down the steamy window was such an obvious rip of Titanic that even I knew it, and I haven't ever seen Titanic!

A hundred bucks says we see a little Anna/Dean semi-angelic moppet busting into the plot in a Deus ex Metallicar in about, say, 8 episodes. Taking bets starting now.

Angels engaging in fisticuffs. No, no, no, no no nononono. No. Worse than Gandalf and Saruman.

But I really dug Pamela groping Sam's ass, and I'm glad Dean is coming around to the Ruby side. I'm glad Dean finally confessed to Sammy. And Castiel once again made me happy in my pants. Oh yeah baby!

Movie Meme, ganked from randombastary:

Wow!

I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry you guise, but this has been boiling up inside me for months and I must say it out loud.

Voting changes NOTHING. There is no substantive difference between Republicans and Democrats in this country. Yes, George Bush is an evil bastard, but so are all Democratic Presidents.

As a thinking political being, I've seen seven Presidents come and go: and they're all pretty much the same. Oh, they talk as if they're different, as if they believe different things.

But actions speak louder:

JFK, Icon of Liberalism: cheerfully and secretly bombed the hell out of Laos, a neutral country, without the consent of Congress.
Richard Nixon, Eeeebil Conservative Extraordinaire: signed more social welfare legislation into law than anybody since FDR.
Jimmy Carter, Knee-Jerk Liberal par excellence: played one side off against the other, supported the Khmer Rouge, and then pretended not to see the murder of 1.5 million people.
Bill Clinton, Honorary Black Man: signed the largest welfare cut in U.S. history into law.
Also bombed and murdered innocent people in Iraq and/or Africa EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY of his presidency. Ran the CIA's School for the Americas with just as much evil gusto as ever a Reagan or a Bush did.

All our Presidents of the past fifty years and more, ALL OF THEM, have sold arms and weapons to Israel and the Muslim nations; to Iran and Iraq; to India and Pakistan; to every state in SE Asia. They've supported evil bastards like the Taliban and ignored or participated in heroin/opium traffic.

Not just the Republicans, people. The Dems, too. All of 'em.

And that's not even getting into the fact that, even when our Presidents aren't just flat-out bombing people, they are engaging in economic blackmail and warfare that kills innocent people through starvation and malnutrition and lack of medical care: in Cuba, in South and Central America, in Africa, in the Middle East, China, Korea...all over the world.

Honey darlings, I appreciate that you want things to change, I really do. But Obama ain't gonna change shit. Voting changes nothing. The power of the nation-state and international capitalism is going to run roughshod over ideals like justice, freedom, and just plain being fed adequately, until they collapse of their own weight, and a new system arises from the ashes of the old one.
[/rant]

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. Please ignore me and carry on as usual.

Just a little doubledrabblish thing I whipped up for Smut Sunday...

Title: Rimming
Length: doubledrabble
Pairing: Jack/Ianto
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: *points to title*
Summary: Jack and Ianto think about rimming

Rimming

Jack:
When Jack's from, people don't have body hair anymore. The precisely bioengineered pheromones of his own time were a package deal with equally-engineered smoothness (and perfect teeth). Jack doesn't have any body hair, and sometimes he hates that he doesn't. It's cold and clean and clinical, and it isn't human enough.

One of the things, one of the things he loves about Ianto, is that Ianto's ass is hairy. Ianto is hairy all over, actually, and it drives Jack absolutely insane with lust. Infinitely soft hair on those delectable asscheeks, peachfuzz that Jack loves to comb his fingers through when he's rimming Ianto. Down of hair between those cheeks for Jack to lick and pattern with the tip of his tongue. For him to lick into a spiral around Ianto's center, marking out just exactly where Jack is going to press his cockhead, soon, sooner, soonest.

Ianto:
Ianto thinks of Jack's skin in terms of cloth, fabrics, textures: lambskin suede over the muscles of Jack's back, silk sheathing his cock, velvet for his balls, and tender muslin for the skin of Jack's asshole when Ianto opens it with his tongue. Ianto can never quite believe he's doing it, this terrible, intimate thing. When Jack is open, when Ianto licks the pointed tensile tip of his tongue around the pink skin actually inside Jack, in and around and about, sometimes his head literally spins.

He's come from it, more than once, just from this: licking Jack's asshole. The last time, he'd been moaning even more loudly than Jack was, and Jack had breathed thickly, "Are you coming?"

Ianto had gasped out against Jack's heated flesh, "Yes..."

"Not even touching yourself?"

"No...christ...not..."

And he and Jack had gone off together, untouched.

I was taking it as a GAY MAN, sheesh). Aaaaany way...no surprises, they evaluated the same answers differently depending on which gender I said I was.

Apparently, the same responses make me 'Romantic' when I'm a guy, but 'Logical' when I'm a girl. Also, the same responses make me 'Laid Back' when I'm female, but 'Driven' when I'm a male. Now THAT one makes no sense at all!! And finally, apparently I'm both extroverted, and a loner. *scratches head*

Hey, guys, I need your advice. Is the American Queer as Folk worth watching? Seen and loved the Brit show, which would have become my favorite show except it suffered from a lack of not being sf/fantasy (I don't do Real World very well). Just wondering if it's worth getting hold of the U.S. version.

What say you?

So is Jack.

Ianto is sparing and precise in all things. He had said nothing as he'd knelt and touched you for the first time. He'd sucked you as if he was in love with your cock, a gift of passion all the more searing for its restraint.

You can't repay him in kind. You are too loud, too fierce, too full of appetite. Your gestures take up too much space.

So you give Ianto something else. You let his precise hands knit up the cracks in your soul, and then you show him he healed them. You let him see their scars.

I'm so full of joy at my latest weird purchase that I had to show you guys a picture. Can I get a witness for Fear and Loathing? (I miss you, Hunter. I miss you a lot.)

--We have become a Nazi monster in the eyes of the whole world, a nation of bullies and bastards who would rather kill than live peacefully. We are not just Whores for power and oil, but killer whores with hate and fear in our hearts. We are human scum, and that is how history will judge us. No redeeming social value. Just whores. Get out of our way, or we'll kill you. Who does vote for these dishonest shitheads? Who among us can be happy and proud of having all this innocent blood on our hands? Who are these swine? These flag-sucking half-wits who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush?[...]Fuck them.--

--There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the Bay, then up the Golden Gate or down 101 to Los Altos or La Honda... You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning...
And that, I think, was the handle — that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply PREVAIL. There was no point in fighting — on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave...

So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark — that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.--

--I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs, or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me.--

--Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music and never forget you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers and warriors.--
