Current mood: satisfied

It's been a hell of a season for Supernatural fans. On top of their individual apocalyptic traumas, Our Boys have been estranged and distant from each other. It's been hard on them, and it's been harder on us, but last week's episode appears to have given fans hope. There's been an explosion of discussion and fic and meta, and I've had a ball this weekend trying to read it all. Fandom, I love you!!

And I want to share the love and renewed hope and enthusiasm! So here are some of my faves:

Post-4.17 Fics: (all are nc-17):
The Colts and the Haunting of the Port Hadley Lighthouse
The Life That I Recognise
Doing the Best Things So Conservatively
Forget the Riches and the Other Itches
I'll Find You Even in the Dark
two sides of an ampersand

Post-4.17 Meta:
on Sam:
It's My Choice: Why I Believe in Sam Winchester
on Dean:
Dean's words on hunting: Not one of Heaven's ducks
on Cas and the angels:
Questions on Angelic Morality as posed by 4.16: Castiel and Anna

Previews for next week's episode, "The Monster At the End of This Book":

And finally, how much do I love the Quizno's ad with the gay oven? LOTS!!
