Wincest Fic Recs
A few of the string of utterly hot Sam/Dean fic I've come *ahem* across lately. Because the wincest, you guys? The wincest is some of the best and raunchiest porn to be found anywhere. (This fandom has amazing fic! I'm even starting to read gen!! Dudes, I do not do gen.) But this recs list is of teh p0rny. randombastary, you'll love this first fic, even if there are some wincesty bits. Awesome and amazing, incredible tone and voice and use of language. So hardcore. It'll blow you away, which is why I'm reccing to you despite the wincest.

Guy walks into a bar, rolls his leather off his shoulders and hands it to his brother, the tall guy coming in just a half-step behind him. Okay, it's not so much a bar and more of a roadhouse, a sawdust on the floor kind of place, like you'd expect to see Sam Elliot any second, you know? Tractor trailer parking out back, no light beer, you know. Okay, so.
Guy walks into a roadhouse, sheds his leather and hands it to his brother, the brother could be ten kinds of dangerous if he was in the mood, but he's not the one with the faint shimmer of crazy in his eyes, he's not the one rolling up his sleeves as he makes his way to the jukebox. Guy takes his wallet out, fishes out a tenspot, feeds it in and the thing spits it out. He smoothes it on the glass, tries it facing the other way; the thing eats it and tells him he's got twenty plays for his money, so he scrolls through the tracks for about a minute or five and then he punches in the same number twenty times.
The dudes in the roadhouse stop finding it funny around about the third, fourth run through, and the guy's just leaning back on the juke, smoking a cigarette with his left hand and working the heavy hunk of silver on his right middle finger with his thumb. Guy grins at his brother, the brother's at the bar with a bottle of MGD at his lips, and when Kenny sings again the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep, they both cock their heads and smile.
Chairs scrape and boots scuff, and that grin gets wider; the guy crooks his fingers, c'mon, c'mon. Who wants some? The brother takes another long pull off his bottle, says loud and clear: "I got fifty on him."

Bitches, if I could write like that, I'd be happier than Andy with a fresh bongload. WAYYY happier. And from here on down, it's pretty much unrepentant porn! In-character, well-written porn...because that's how I roll.

Hey, I know it probably shouldn't matter anymore since the supernatural aspect of the rr is being dropped,but did you get a chance to look at anything I linked you to or posted on

My bunnies are sort of eating away at me,but I still wanted to know what I was doing right and wrong as far as characterization goes, in case I ever did want to start over and do a MotW story instead of making it complicated by adding Ruby and Lilith into things.

I checked out the one story from Sam's pov. I've lost the other links you sent when my computer's hard drive was wiped last week. Bad malware. So, if there's more, send me the links again, okay?

In what I read, it struck me a bit funny that Dean wasn't familiar with Indian food. Even if they've never been to an Indian restaurant, everybody in the States knows what kebabs are, and gyros, and curry. Food is something Americans are never shy about imperialistically co-opting from other cultures. And somebody who's been around as much as Dean has would've run into kebabs, at least, if not paneer.

Sam seemed perfectly in character to me. Dean seemed a bit dumb.

THANK YOU! See,this is the sort of stuff I need to know. I'm not versed enough with the fandom(Especially since I stopped watching) and I only know what itty bitty scraps people were willing to tell me. Plus, the boys always eat at Diners and Hash browns and I was told Dean basically skipped classes and didn't really bother exploring life the way Sam did.

Dean probably did seem dumb,but that's because from whatever info I was given,I was under the impression he's never really been outside his box of "Pie,hunting,confusing reality with porn" and other routine Dean stuff.

What kind of stuff would Dean know? What wouldn't he know? I mean, he's not a hick,but would he know how to order in Starbucks? How out of place would he be in a place that's similar to Manhattan,only with a slightly more international/Euro vibe to it?

I still refuse to include the boys in the actual rr because it's unfair to Kris and I promised her Bobby,but if I can get Dean right,then I'm good to go. I wouldn't know how to write Bobby if I tried,which was only once:

I'm sure your fangs will automatically come out at Priyanka for snarking at Dean, but because I made the mistake of starting him off as dumb, she stopped getting along with him after she took the boys to Prada so they'd fit in with the secret society that's filled with sources. She stopped being afraid of Dean eventually,but considering where I'm at in the story,I've probably made more than one mistake if I missed something like him having eaten Indian food before.

How does he approach cases? I probably made mistakes with that too,but again...I had such limited information.

I just coped them from your entry on episode 4.13. I probably should watch that if I want to get Dean right,but I have yet to watch it.

The version you'd be reading is the version where Dean is pumping Priyanka for info, not Sam. She'll probably seem less like a bitch since she's being friendly and flirting for customers(In a non-porny way).

As you can see,there's some stuff I need to get rid of,even though officially the round robin is accepting every type of non-human. I don't know if you have a muse(s) the way Kris and I do,but they're a pain in the ass, especially when they're spoiled and don't get attention.

If you see anything off about Sam or Ruby and have cc for me,by all means, comment and say so. I've pretty much written both versions based on whatever episodes I've seen and what advice I've been given about Dean and Sam. I'm going to just start over and make it a MotW story at this point because even if Priyanka and Ruby's conversation talking about scheme-y, plotty things they can't discuss around the boys was fun to write,Kris was right-Angels,Lilith and Ruby just complicate shit and my ex was the only reason I wanted to finish it.

Anyway, be brutally honest, because if I can make a simple mistake where food is concerned, I probably made a million others as well. The clearer the picture I get of him, the better I can write him this time around.

Sweet! I'm glad my feedback was useful. And I am happy to ramble on and on about the Winchesters, so you'll probably have to stop me when I get going...

I think it all boils down to class. Dean's a blue collar guy, Sam is white collar. But anyway, yeah, I'll read the links and give you an essay on Dean Winchester, Clown and Hero! I may give you a biased view, though, because I love Dean a bit too much. I do acknowledge his faults (inappropriate humor, general crudeness, a virgin/whore complex a mile wide, a tendency to shoot before he thinks).

You're very good at dialogue, by the way!

I'm afraid that's not possible-I have lost interest in the show and unless Ruby or something related to this angel plot resurfaces or I see a reason to give a shit,I'm relying in you,Kris and everyone else to keep me accurate. :P

I should care since I've been a Jensen fan since Days of our lives,but the only show my apathy went away for is Skins. I was going to give up,but the last two episodes sucked me in.

See, I think this is why she's so angry with him in the Bobby scene. He saved her from getting hurt again and she's grateful,but even if she promised him she'd stop mouthing off,Dean still finds a way to irritate Priyanka and until they ACTUALLY spend time together for an assignment related reason and have a deep conversation and then another one at a memorial, she's always afraid and pissed off at the same time. Sam gets her to talk and behave, whereas Dean just pushes her damn buttons. Even when she stopped being upset with him,he gave her "friendly" advice that made her snap. She wasn't mad at him,but he was too blunt and hearing the truth hurt so much(especially at a funeral),she just went insane once she realized everyone was dead and assumed no one cared about her.

(The fact that he went on and on about her being a virgin and how she should get to sleep with whoever she wants without knowing she was right behind him in the beginning didn't help matters any, either. :P)

It's weird, though...the links I showed you have her getting along with Dean more than Sam, even though the plan was always for Sam to be the one she talks to. They actually had sexual tension so thick,you'd wind up on the lost highway. Blue Collar or not,Dean made her relax whereas Sam made her automatically assume he was trying to ask questions that would hurt her friends,family and bretheren.

Again...both parts essentially went into a dead end after she has a conversation gone wrong/fight with Dean. You'll figure it out by the time you're done reading, but she's not the most mentally stable person in the world. The typos were unintentional,but her inconsistent behavior was not.

I would have considered just making them have angry sex considering how bad things got when he was trying to save her from the Naga,but she has a love interest from the get-go,she liked Viral when she first met him and it would have made me feel like a Mary Sue. Besides...she's a virgin and considering her personality, obsessive interests and whatnot,it would have been sort of pointless to have them do it.

I think that's why his version went by so quickly. Even if Priyanka pissed him off with her crass,cyncical,snotty and unethical view of life at first,Sam still managed to be sensitive enough not to totally get her to stop talking, made her trust him and once he started his undercover assignment, she clung to him like glue and even told him to kill her if she does something stupid and risky and winds up putting everyone's lives in danger.

Awww,thankies. I like following the Joss Whedon school of thought where pop culture references are a plenty and like to make genre jokes/references, as well as dark humor. I'm slightly afraid once Starchild is copywritten it'll wind up becoming dated because of pop culture references and whatnot,but if Watchmen and whatever can still be popular,I suppose my stories can too,even if I have no real line when it comes to subjects I won't touch with a twenty-foot pole. There's very little I won't do, including killing people off or adding a WTF?! moment when people least expect it. >:D
