Criss Angel is a Douchebag
Shortshort review of SPN Episode 4.12.

Scary magic tricks! Anvil-icious brother parallels! Sammy being (very very slowly) seduced by the Dark Side! Padalecki's lats'n'traps rippling through two layers of shirts! DEAN'S SAFE WORD!

And whitehaired Ho-Yay, how sweet. Or, as someone on the TWOP forums just said, "Awesome! I thoroughly approve of geriatric gay magicians in tragic love triangles."

O Hai, Brad! *hugs Barry Bostwick*

Not loving the "magic = crack" story, though. Been there, done that. Season 6 Willow, anyone??

Despite that, and a continuing dearth of Cock Rock and Impala!porn, an excellent episode.

I am going to start demanding that people refer to me in public as The Chief from now on :D

Dude! You MUST!!

I loved the way he switched into normal mode and got all friendly when he asked Dean his safe word. What a pro!!

And I'm pretty sure his safe word is pie.

This was another Awww Dean! episode, wasn't it? I loved that BroChat in the motel room about their inevitable deaths. Yeah, that's right! Pritty white boys gonna DIE. Get used to it, Sammy. It's what happens when you're a hero.

Gawd, not only no Testosterone Rock, but no Metallicar this week. WTF!!!

There little heart-to-heart ... awwwww, woobies!! Yeah, I think that they're setting us up for the boys dying in the last episode after the EPIC battle with Lucifer. It'll suck, but that's just the way it goes. If they have a problem, they need to take it up with whoever made the rules.

((((Metallicar)))) And I'll miss you the most, Metallicar.

You know, if they go out they way I'm hoping, I'm totes okay with it. Here's what I want:

The angels want Dean to kill Sam; the demons want Sam to kill Dean; Sam'n'Dean get right to the point of striking the killing blow (or mindray, whatever), but can't do it. They share a Significant Look or Moment, decide a plague o' both your houses, and go out in one big, self-sacrificial moment that seals the gates of both Heaven and Hell forever, and leaves humankind alone on earth, hunters alive and well, battling the little supernatural nuisances that the series started out with.

If they go out like Butch and Sundance? I'm a happy fangirl.
(I either want that ending, or I want the American Gods ending.)

What you want to happen ... it would make me happy in my pants, if that happened. That would be freaking epic. Butch + Sandance + ending = Kris needs a change of panties.

(whoooooooo, this one could be good as well ... though, I did really dig that book ... but the Butch and Sundance ending ... mmmmmmmmmm).

It'd be amazingly fantastic, wouldn't it? *happy sigh* And I think Kripke might just be the kind of guy to do it, too.

I've been hanging out on the Television Without Pity forums, and a lot of fans there think that the series will end with Sam settling down somewhere for a normal life, and Dean staying out on the road hunting.

That. Would. Suck.

Are they even watching the same show that we are?

Heehee. I think his safeword with Chief would be 'Sammy'.

I think his safeword would be a girly scream. Much more fun for the rest of us this way.

Not loving the "magic = crack" story, though. Been there, done that. Season 6 Willow, anyone??

My thought exactly. Next thing you know Sammy's trying to suck the magic out of some grimoires and really, there better things he could su... never mind, moving on.

I want my the Metallicar back as well as good music and if they're already at it, then I would like to use the moment and order some plot as well. Never hurts anyone, plot.

*rummages through your profil to steal some icons*

Mehehehe. ♥

"girly scream"...I love it when Dean's macho gets punctured!

Next thing you know Sammy's trying to suck the magic out of some grimoires and really, there better things he could su...

Yeah, I really, really don't want that storyline back, kthnxbai. Although, SPN being a lot more...simplistically written...than Buffy, so that it really doesn't use metaphors like Buffy did. They're more like just really obvious parallels, you know? So it wouldn't be as jarring if they did go magic=crack.

But either way, the outcome is AWESOME, dude!! Evil!Willow totally rocked my world, and Evil!Sammy from 'Born Under A Bad Sign'? Was fantastic. I can't wait for Sam to go darkside. I'm almost hoping that they decide to cancel SPN after this season, just so I can see the damn mytharc climax already!! *g*

Evil!Willow was one of the best things EVER! Can't tell you how much I loved her. Actually, I think we already had that conversation once, didn't we?

Sammy hasn't been real dark so far, has he? Can't remember. I would like him to go badass evil, kill Lilith, take over the Evil army of Evil, kick Dean's butt and rule that world... something like that. I don't want the "Sam settles down, Dean hunts"-ending. Laaaaame.

Yeah, we've squeed over dark!Willow at least twice. But she was SO COOL, it's always worth another squee!! I loved it when she fucked Rack's shit up, that rocked. Now, if only she'd gone ahead and killed Dawnie, ah, all would have been well...

Sam only went dark in one episode where he was possessed by a demon (the demon who used to be Meg, daughter of Yellow Eyes). It's S2, Ep.14, "Born Under A Bad Sign". Memorable scene is when he finds scrawny Jo working at a bar, and ties her to a post and tells her all about how Sucky Daddy Winchester killed her hunter daddy, way back in the day. "My daddy shot your daddy in the he-ead."

And that was the moment that I realized that Padalecki actually CAN act, upon occasion, when he's well-directed and has actual decent lines to say. IT'S A MIRACLE, I TELLS YOU!!

Oh dear god, I do not want a happy ending for these boys. No, no, nonononono. I want them to go out like Butch and Sundance, outlaws to the end, telling both Heaven and Hell to go fuck themselves.

I'm actually pretty hopeful that that's the ending I'm going to get, if not at the end of Season 4, then next year. that'd be sweeeet.

Ah, yes, I remember that scene with Jo. Heh. Her face - she was sooo pissed off. *g*

Endings of TV shows - I've stopped to hope for any kind of end that makes sense AND is satisfying. You know, if SPN was an Anime, well, THEN there would be an epic tragic end where the brothers a) die or b) fight on different sides with one of them dying - with LOADS of great music, sex in the car, outside the car and with the car, dead angels falling from the heaven (I really need to watch that Mitamura movie again) and a world splatterd in blood.

Not that I spend any time imagine a possible end or anything.

I want the next episode of Chuck! I want Torchwood. I want dDctor Who! I want Tennant to stay. I want something to eat, because I'm starving. I want the ability not to start rambling every time I write or say something. -_-

Sorry, I was reading shortly before I wrote that. I must have confused actual storytelling and TV. Sorry. Won't happen again.
